free-standing, independent home infusion service licensed by
the State of Oregon through the Oregon Board of Pharmacy and
accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of
Healthcare Organizations. Our staff of licensed Clinical
Pharmacists, Registered Nurses, technicians and administrators
have been providing the clinical and economic benefits of
infusion drug and nutrition therapies administered in the home
and other out-patient locations since 1989.

Home infusion is a proven, safe and effective alternative to
hospitalization for treatment of many illness and other medical
conditions.
Home infusion therapy is a term for medical care in the home, or other out-patient settings, with medications administered using intravenous, subcutaneous, and epidural routes (into the bloodstream, under the skin, and into the membranes surrounding the spinal cord) with clinical support from specially trained nurses and pharmacists.
Infusion therapy always begins with a prescription from a qualified physician who is overseeing the care of the patient. HomeCare I.V. of Bend, Inc is a licensed and accredited pharmacy and amubulatory care facility with a specially trained clinical staff that has been providing physician ordered home infusion therapies since 1989.
For many patients, receiving
treatment at home or in an another outpatient setting is
preferable to inpatient care. When your physician
orders infusion or enteral nutrition therapies, our team makes
a thorough assessment of the patient, patient support system
and home as the first step to providing a complete solutions
for the course of treatment.
Patients and their caregivers are trained to provided many aspects of their own care. Nursing and pharmacy support is provided to ensure proper patient education and training and to monitor the care of the patient in the home. Reliable, simple to operate, state-of-the-art infusion devices are used to ensure consistent and accurate dosing and often permit patients to remain ambulatory during their course of treatment. In many instances, patients can resume normal lifestyle and work activities while receiving care.
