A diagnosis of cancer is an overwhelming, life changing experience for all those involved. Choosing the right healthcare team can mitigate the stress and enable you to focus on what's most important to you. The nurses, nutritionist, pharmacists and other clinical staff at Home Care I. V. are dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care throughout therapy.
Working closely with the referring oncologist, Home Care I.V. offers chemotherapy and related infusion services in a convenient and comfortable setting. Our highly trained nurses provide care in our Ambulatory Infusion Center (AIC) as well as in a patient’s home. After receiving initial treatment education at our AIC, patients on cyclical and continuous therapies are often able to remain home for the remaining treatment duration.
Home Care I.V. provides comprehensive care plans. They include chemotherapy, symptom management, education, clinical laboratory monitoring and supplies. Our patient’s receive all supplies necessary for the safe administration of chemotherapy medications, including sharps containers and chemotherapy waste containers.
