HomeCare I.V. of Bend, Inc provides physician - ordered chemotherapy regimens in patient's homes and our Ambulatory Infusion Center (AIC).
Infusions are generally provided using
small, computerized infusion
pumps. Patients on cyclical and continuous therapies
visit our AIC for nursing care and teaching and then return
home for the duration of the infusion. Out-of-town
patients are taught how to safely complete their infusion at
home and return equipment via mail.
All supplies necessary for the safe administration of chemotherapy medications, including sharps containers and chemotherapy waste containers are provided.
