Infusion therapies treat a variety of conditions. Other special medications are most appropriately administered by clinicians in a controlled environment like our ambulatory infusion center or at home by our experienced nurses.
From a relatively simple infusion of hydrating fluids to the complexity of parenteral nutrition, home infusion is a safe, clinically effective and cost-saving way to receive the care you need.
Some of the other diagnosis treated include:
- Immune Globulin Deficiency treated with IVIG (Gamma globulin, immune globulin, intravenous immunoglobulin, Gammagard). For people with immune deficiencies, IVIG can help prevent or treat infections such as meningitis, bacteremia, osteomyelitis, septic arthritis, acute sinusitis, pneumonia, acute mastoiditis, or abscess of an internal organ
- Migraine Headaches: DHE (Dihydroergotamine) for treatment of migraine headaches
- Dehydration: Hydration using physician ordered fluids and electrolytes for treatment of acute dehydration.
