Pain management therapies are most commony provided using a small, computerized infusion pump. The portable size and programming versatility allow a wide range of treatment options without the intrusiveness of large, pole mounted equipment. Our nurses provide the learning to both patients and caregivers for safe and effective care.
In certain cases, chronic pain is managed with surgically implanted infusion pumps. Using precision equipment and electronics, our specially trained nurses fill and program the implanted pump. Home Care I.V. of Bend is the only home infusion facility in the region with the equipment, training and experience required to safely and effectively manage these devices.
