Home infusion in the outpatient setting........ 
Some of our patients have additional needs that require home
health involvement. For example, wound care and help with
activities of daily life may require the services of a home
health agency. If that is the situation, HomeCare I.V. of
Bend provides the medication and all supplies necessary to
complete the required therapy, but a home health nurse supplies
the
"hands-on" care and teaching in the patient's home.
We team up with St. Charles Home Health Services, Partners In Care, Hospice of Redmond-Sisters, Newberry Hospice, Mt. View Home Health and Hospice, Lake View Health and Hospice, Blue Mountain Health and Hospice, Harney County Health and Hospice, and many other home health agencies in our service area.
If our patient does not have home health needs, they may sometimes still have difficulty ambulating to our office. In those circumstances, we send our nurse to the patient's home for weekly dressing changes, lab draws and for emergency visits.
Every day one of our nurses is out making "house calls" whenever the need arises.
