The future of healthcare lies in the hands of eager students. Home Care I.V. president Barabara Dembsky, R.Ph, is an affiliate faculty member of Oregon State University College of Pharmacy and licensed Pharmacy Preceptor. Clinical Manager Mike Sullivan, R.Ph. and Staff Pharmacist Doug Rude, R.Ph. are Pharmacy Preceptors licensed by the State of Oregon. During the past 12 years Home Care I.V. has hosted many pharmacy students during their internship cycle and we look forward to continuing this unique learning experience.
During a rotation at Home Care I.V. of Bend, students gain experience in the specialized pharmacy practice of home infusion including: pain management, Total Parenteral Nutrition calculations, sterile compounding, infusion supplies, implanted infusion pump procedures and so much more.
